When inspiration does not come to me, I go halfway to meet it. (Sigmund Freud). Consciously or unconsciously, influences and inspirations make their way into the material and become an inseparable part of the work. A visit to the flee market, a trip to New York, inspirations from daily life, nature, found objects (ready made), museums, past periods of time or just a magazine we read, are combined into the design and can appear as references, as elements used, style or material which remind us of the original. Inspirations are around us at all times; we only pick them up and use them as raw material for a new piece that carries our name and personal statement.
"Thought has to
pass through the
heart to be made
active and meaningful"
(Henry Miller, writer & painter)
Design to us is the exact balance between thought and emotion. It makes us unique, Professionalism bathing in creativity is what makes every project exciting.
