AMAL (Spoken Arabic for All - عربية محكية للجميع) is a non-profit Israeli organisation working to mainstream Arab culture and refute the negative stigma towards it in the Israeli society by teaching Spoken Arabic in Hebrew-speaking Israeli schools. When we decided that we wanted to do a pro bono project we searched for an organisation with a mission that we value. During our search we found a lot of amazing non-profits and initiatives. We chose AMAL because of their simple and pure approach to a shared existence by working with children. We really like their message of peace, tolerance and mutual respect between Jews and Arabs in the Israeli society.We naturally designed the AMAL logo by combining Hebrew and Arabic, the site (stunning, if we may say so ourselves) displays each of the important projects that this wonderful organisation is promoting.
